About the Pakula Friendly:

How to Enter the Pakula Friendly:
  How to Enter the Pakula Friendly: It's as easy as filling in a form and transferring the funds to the Pakula Friendly bank account and you are in.

There are two venues this year:
-  The Gold Coast Pakula Friendly based at Couran Point Island Beach Resort Friday 30th January to Sunday 1st February 2009.

     - Info on fishing the Gold Coast area
-  The Pakula Friendly Port Stephens based at the Newcastle and Port Stephens Game Fishing Club at Shoal Bay Friday 6th to Sunday 8th of February 2009.
    - Info on fishing the Port Stephens area

You can edit your entries at any stage by emailing pakula@pakula.com

Once your entry has been submitted it will appear on The Teams List where you can check that your entry has been processed and is up to date if you make any changes.

The Format of the Pakula Friendly:
  The formant of The Pakula Friendly get together is designed to be as free and friendly as possible. There are no rules, start or finish times. You can participate in all the meets or as few as you wish. There are no demands do do anything at any time.

The things that are available for you to take part in are as follows:
- Friday daytime: (times to be decided on) there will be a Pakula School based on going through things such fishing in the area, tackle set-up, where to fish, how to fish the area and anything anyone wants to discuss about tackle and or boat set-up and any aspect of game fishing. There is no fixed format to the school to allow the attendees to get the information they want.
- Friday Evening about 7.30pm: Get together at the venue to pick up your Pakula Friendly pack of goodies and have dinner and or a drink and socialise.
- Saturday: Go fishing when you want and come back when you want
- Saturday Evening about 7.30pm Get together at the venue to have dinner and or a drink and socialise.
- Sunday: Go fishing when you want and come back when you want
- Sunday Evening about 7.30pm Get together at the venue to have dinner and or a drink and socialise.

If possible there will be major items and some specials Auctioned at the venues.

The Pakula Friendly Auctions:
  Auctions have been an integral part of all the Pakula Friendlies. Donations are gathered by committee members, PF entrats and Marlin Bar forum members.

100% of the proceeds goes directly to charities in involved in Cancer. The beneficiaries of all profits go to the National Breast Cancer Foundation and Camp Quality

There are two types of auctions that are historically part of the Pakula Friendly. There is the on-line auction where items are put up on The Pakula Friendly Pages, and there are items donated to be auctioned off at the venues during the get togethers. The item sponsor can choose which they prefer the items to be actioned at or leave it up to the committee.

The Letter to The Sponsor outlines sponsorship. Anyone can donate something for the auction.

To donate to the Auction, simply fill out The Auction Donation Form and follow the simple instructions. If you have a logo and web page please send them to us and we'll put on the left hand web site banner.
